Ingredients
  

Cupcakes
  • 37 pieces mini cupcakes baked and cooled completely
Frosting
  • 32 oz prepared white frosting 2 tubs, 16 oz each
Color Gels
  • 1 set Americolor color gels deep pink and red red

Equipment

  • 1 M piping tip
  • 3 piping bags
  • Large cutting board

Method
 

  1. Place your cupcakes onto a large cutting board and create a heart shape with all of the cupcakes.
  2. If transporting, place a small amount of icing under each cupcake wrapper and press to secure.
  3. Place about 2/3 of a tub of white frosting into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe onto the top cupcakes.
  4. Mix deep pink color gels into 2/3 of a tub of frosting, place into a piping bag with a star tip, and pipe onto the cupcakes under the white.
  5. Mix red red color gels into the remaining frosting, place into a piping bag with a star tip, and pipe onto the cupcakes.

Notes

For a personal touch, you can use different shades of pink and red to create a gradient effect. Ensure cupcakes are securely placed to avoid accidents during transport.
