Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 150 g packed brown sugar
  • 120 g butter room temperature
  • 60 g margarine
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg egg room temperature
Dry Ingredients
  • 240 g all-purpose flour scooped lightly
  • 96 g instant vanilla pudding 3.4 ounce box
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Add-ins
  • 135 g semi-sweet chocolate chips plus more for after baking
  • 180 g white chocolate chips plus more for after baking
  • 150 g Valentine M&M’s divided

Equipment

Method
 

  1. In a mixer bowl, beat the butter, margarine, sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla, beat well.
  3. Add in the flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt. Slowly stir first and then beat until all ingredients are completely incorporated.
  4. Slowly stir in chocolate and white chocolate chips.
  5. Fold in half of the M&M's.
  6. Remove the beater, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  7. The next day, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  8. Roll the dough into balls, place on a lined baking sheet, and bake for 9-12 minutes.
  9. Remove and immediately top each cookie with extra chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and M&M's before they cool.
  10. Leave cookies on baking sheet to cool.
  11. Repeat this process with remaining dough.

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. Ensure cookie sheets are cool before placing dough on them to achieve consistent baking.
