Tiramisu Dip

Ingredients
  

Dip
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tsp instant espresso powder
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 226 g mascarpone cheese softened
  • 170 g cream cheese softened
  • 100 g confectioners’ sugar sifted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp kosher salt pinch
  • 1 packet Ladyfingers for serving

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, combine the heavy cream, instant espresso powder, and unsweetened cocoa powder. Whisk until smooth.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened mascarpone, cream cheese, and sifted confectioners' sugar at medium-high speed until smooth (about two minutes). Pause to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  3. Add the cream mixture, vanilla extract, and a pinch of kosher salt. Start mixing at low speed until the ingredients are just combined, then increase to medium-high and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy (about one more minute).
  4. Spoon the dip into a serving bowl, dust with additional cocoa powder if desired, and serve with ladyfingers for dipping.

Notes

This dip is best enjoyed fresh. You can prepare it ahead of time and refrigerate it, but let it come to room temperature before serving for the best texture.
