Ingredients

Cookie Base
  • 2.5 cups mini pretzels coarsely crushed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough 16.5 ounces
  • 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup all-purpose flour
Filling and Drizzle
  • 0.33 cup seedless strawberry jam stirred
  • 2 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp milk more as needed

Equipment

  • Baking Sheets

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
  3. In a large bowl, break apart sugar cookie dough. Add cream cheese and flour, mixing until well blended and dough is soft.
  4. Scoop dough into 24 to 28 small balls. Roll each in the pretzel mixture and arrange on baking sheets.
  5. Press an indentation into each dough ball. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes until edges are set.
  6. Once cool, fill each cookie with about 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam.
  7. For the drizzle, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cookies.

Notes

For best results, ensure cookies are completely cooled before filling with jam to prevent melting. Adjust milk quantity for drizzle consistency.
