Ingredients
  

Strawberry Kiss Cookies
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 113 g butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 large egg
  • 113 g cream cheese softened
  • 30 chocolate Hershey’s Kisses unwrapped
  • 50 g powdered sugar optional

Method
 

  1. Combine strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Add softened cream cheese and mix until thick and fully incorporated.
  3. Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls.
  6. Roll in powdered sugar or pink sugar if using, or place plain on baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  8. Rest cookies 1–2 minutes, then gently press a chocolate kiss into the center.
  9. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.

Notes

For a festive touch, use colored sugar that matches the occasion. Remember to handle the cookies gently after baking to prevent the chocolate from melting too much.
