Ingredients
  

Strawberry Kiss Cookies
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 8 tbsp butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • powdered sugar or pink granulated sugar optional
  • 30 chocolate Hershey’s Kisses unwrapped

Method
 

  1. Combine strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg in a large bowl until smooth.
  2. Add softened cream cheese and mix until thick and fully incorporated.
  3. Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls.
  6. Roll in powdered sugar or pink sugar if using, or place plain on baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  8. Rest cookies 1–2 minutes, then gently press a chocolate kiss into the center.
  9. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.

Notes

These cookies are best enjoyed fresh. You can store them in an airtight container for up to a week. Feel free to experiment with different cake mix flavors or add-ins!
