Ingredients
  

Red Velvet Waffles
  • 1 packet red velvet cake mix plus water, oil, and eggs as per box instructions
Cream Cheese Topping
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 tbsp butter softened
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk add more for thinner consistency

Method
 

  1. Plug in your waffle iron and let it heat up. Spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Combine red velvet cake mix with ingredients on the box. Stir until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into waffle iron. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until set.
  4. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla.
  5. Add milk to cream cheese mixture to desired consistency. Drizzle over waffles.

Notes

For an extra treat, serve with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or fresh berries on top.
