Ingredients

  • 1 roll Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 45 ml pizza sauce
  • 1 package Hormel pizza pepperoni
  • 8 slices mozzarella cheese

Equipment

  • Baking Dish

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375.
  2. Roll out the crescent rolls and pinch the seams securely (or, purchase the sheet of crescent rolls if available).
  3. Press the roll of dough out to measure 12 x 15.
  4. Spoon on the pizza sauce and spread it over the surface of the dough, leaving a ¼ inch edge that’s free from the sauce.
  5. Layer on the pepperoni so all the slices are touching, but in a single layer.
  6. Layer on the sliced cheese.
  7. Starting from the longest side, begin to roll the dough as tightly as possible, rolling towards the other end of the roll.
  8. When completely rolled, pinch the free edge seam to the roll.
  9. Using a serrated knife, cut the pizza roll into 12 slices. Use a sawing motion and don’t press too hard. Let the knife do the work.
  10. Lay each roll down in a sprayed 9 x 13 baking dish.
  11. Bake for about 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown and the dough is baked through, and the cheese is melted.
  12. Enjoy!
