Method
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a muffin tin with baking spray.
- Unroll the puff pastry on a clean surface, with the long side on the bottom and spread the Nutella evenly across the puff pastry.
- Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips across the Nutella.
- Roll puff pastry up from the bottom, as tightly as possible, to form one long roll.
- Cut each roll in half to form two shorter rolls, resulting in 4 rolls total.
- Now cut each roll in half lengthwise, exposing the inside layers, to get 8 half rolls.
- Roll each half up tightly and tuck the ends underneath and then place in the prepared muffin pan.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 33-35 minutes or until the pastry is cooked through. Uncover and bake for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside, optional.
- Let the cruffins cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan and serving.
Notes
These cruffins are perfect for a brunch or dessert. You can serve them warm or at room temperature. Feel free to dust with powdered sugar before serving for an extra touch of sweetness.
