Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Coat a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray or baker’s release.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the pudding mix on top of the cake mix.
- Add the chocolate chips – reserving a ½ cup of them for later.
- Pour the milk over the top of the dry mix. Stir gently until well combined.
- Sprinkle the top with the remaining ½ cup of the chocolate chips.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is set and the edges pull away from the baking pan.
- Remove from oven and place it on a wire rack. Allow to cool slightly to serve warm with ice cream, or you can cool it completely before serving and add other toppings such as frosting or whipped cream.
Notes
You can also mix everything in a bowl and then add it to the prepared baking dish. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
